What is Davio Media?
Davio Media provides an easy way to legally buy and download albums and songs that are compatible with all computers and MP3 players.

Davio Media supplies the music service software, servers, bandwidth, payment service and licenses the music for online sale from the artists and labels. We often work with affiliates to help sell music through their web sites. If you would like to be an affiliate and add the capability to sell music from your web site you can find more information on our affiliate page.

Davio Media has chosen the MP3 format for our music because we want it to be easy to use. By buying music through a legal service like ours we know you are making a commitment to support the artists who make the music you love.

How do I get the music to my computer?
After you buy a song, a Download button will appear next to the track or album listing. You can also see all the music you have purchased on the My Downloads page. To download the songs just click on the Download button and the download process will begin. For albums or larger downloads we combine songs and albums into a single zip file to make the downloads faster and simpler.

What is a zip file?
A zip file is a single file containing several songs or albums. When you download an album we will automatically combine all the songs into a single zip file. It is an easy way to combine files into a single download instead of individually downloading every track. You need a zip utility program (usually a free or shareware program) on your computer to open zip files. Most computers already have a Zip utility program and will automatically un-zip these files and place the music where you want it on your computer.

Why use zip files?
Zipping files together allows you too combine more than one album or song into a single large download instead of downloading each one individually. Please remember that if you download several albums at one time it could take quite awhile for our servers to prepare the file and then for your computer to receive it. However, using zip files takes less time than downloading songs individually.

What can I do with the music I buy?
The music you buy on Davio Media is for personal use only. That means you can listen to it on your computer, or burn a CD to listen to it on your home stereo or in your car. The music is copyrighted by the artists or music labels. Please respect their rights and the work they have put into it.

What are the system requirements?
You can use the Davio Media web site on any computer with an internet connection and a web browser. You will also need Zip software that will un-zip the music files you download. Many computers come with this software installed and will unzip files automatically.

What types of files is your music in?
All of our music is in MP3 format. It works on all MP3 players.

What is my user name and password?
Your user name is your email address. You set your password when you signed up with us. If you have forgotten your password you can re-set it by going to the password retrieval page.

What is an affiliate?
An affiliate is another web site that may direct their customers to Davio Media to buy and download music. They can link directly to a song or album. Affiliates earn referral fees when their customers purchase music on Davio Media. Davio Media contracts with the copyright holders, stores the music files on our servers, handles all of the payment transaction, and provides the download to your computer. Our affiliates use special links on their site to maintain their web site color scheme and logo on our pages when you link from their site. To become an affiliate, just complete our affiliate application.

What if I can't download a song?
Your downloads never expire. If for some reason you have a technical problem with your computer that prevents you from downloading you may always come to the My Downloads page and try the download again.

How do I change my credit card info?
You can change all of your personal information, including credit card and expiration date, on the My Account page.

How do I change my address or other personal info?
You can change your address or other information on the My Account page.

Can I access my account through another computer?
Yes. You just have to log in to your account on Davio Media using your user name and password.

Is Davio Media available outside the US?
You can access the web pages, listen to music samples and even sign up as a customer if you are located outside the US. However, you must have a US billing address to buy music.

What happens if I lose my music on my computer?
You can always come to the My Downloads page and re-download any music you have already purchased.

Do I need a credit card to use Davio Media?
Yes, if you want to buy music. We are working on alternative payment methods. However, you can browse the music and listen to samples without a credit card or signing up.
